Okay I'm a goldendoodle breeder not labradoodle and what I look for to help determine shedding vs. non-shedding coats are excess facial hair and coat thickness and wave. I would have no trouble telling someone this will be a non-shedding coat. She looks identical to one of my non-shedding females. That said, calling coats can be very tough. In goldendoodles there are a great variety of coats. Curly does not always mean non-shedding nor does wavy. If they have clean faces like a golden or a labrador retriever I think they are more likely to be shedding than if they grow the facial hair. Hope that helps,
Too soon to tell...appears to be a fleece...7-8 weeks is a better predictor, and even then once the puppy coat goes you may get some shedding coats even with a wonderful fleece puppy coat...or it could go to a wool......
I have one stud that is a solid non shedding coat predictor...my Cooper...
The only way I can tell if they shed is to drag my hand thru their coat. They will shed right away.. you don't have to wait 4 weeks. At least that is my experience. That a dog is born either shedding or not.
I have seen some that will shed very lightly but again it should be easy to tell. Not by looks but by feel.
