More Sheep Stories

Since joining DK I have seen several references to the Cream and White Doodles as Sheep. For example, when my pup was 4 months old, my husband held my dog in a hug position and walked into our vets office. He looked at the Vet Tech and said, " Excuse me miss, we have an emergency, do you treat sheep at this office". She jumped up and said, Oh my hold on, let me run and ask the Doctor !!!

So here is another story.

This past weekend we went to a large dog park in our area. There was a beautiful Australian Sheep Dog named Lily who would not leave my dog alone. At the time there were 75 dogs in the park, none she bothered except Spud.

We tried to separate and go to the other side of the park and across the lake. We even had to hide from her. It actually got out of hand. Lily continued to harass only our dog. Her owner apologized over and over saying she had no idea why Lily would not listen to her and continue to bark and rush my dog,

except for the fact that our dog truly looked like a sheep. I had forgotten all about the sheep reference.

So did mine until he got shaved the other day. No whe looks like a lamb:)

Too funny! He looks a lot like Marlow in this picture. Marlow is getting trimmed today as we speak, so hopefully he won't look to "sheepy" any more :)
