Blue Buffalo food

I am thinking of switching my 10 week old puppy to this brand of food. Does anyone feed their dogs Blue Buffalo?

My 22 month old has been on it since he was a puppy. We had a terrible time finding something that he would eat consistently. We love Blue Buffalo! My 10 month old puppy has been on Blue since I transitioned her when she came home. I know other friends who use it as well. Good luck!

We feed it to our 2 doods, they love it and their weight and coats are great. We also feed the puppies BB puppy, and they did great. I recommend it to our new owners. Only thing, they have these darker pellets in with the kibble (they have some special name, life source bits), and some of the puppies didnt eat them very much, only the brown kibble. Who knows why, the adults eat them all. The fish formula leavesa bit of an adour on their breath but the others dont seem to.

Tried Blue Buff with Taquito and he would spit out the small darker pellets - hated them! Drove me nuts so I switched him to Taste of the Wild. Success finally after 5 years of picky eating.

That's so funny. My puppy likes the dark pellets the best. We actually pick some of them out and tell him they're treats and now he thinks they're special.

HA! Dogs are so funny....I thought BB was a good food though. Taquito is just wacky about his food.

We just switched from the Chicken and Rice Blue Buffalo, to the Wilderness. They like it, it rated a 6 stars on the comparison chart and I notice Buddy's ears have much less brown wax, yeaaa. I think we will stay on this for a while, their stools are nice and hard too. Good Luck Sherri.....

The wilderness has a lot more protein, isnt it 44% vs regular is 22%. How did they handle the switch? Any "passing wind" issues?

It's been a couple of weeks now, I haven't noticed any "wind issues" :)

Thank you to everyone for their input. I started my puppy yesterday on the new food with her original food from the breeder and she loved it. I think the transition will be a good one.
