Eye and beard stains....

Brooksy's eyes and beard are pretty stained and I'm not sure what is suddenly causing this. I'm wondering if its the water, his genetics or possibly his food? He didn't have eye stains as a puppy, but it seems over the last few months, the dark red stains have become more pronounced. I have read about the Angel Eyes working well from Jane...so that is a safe, long term solution?

Also, wondering if maybe I should by distilled water and give that a shot. I normally give him tap water (what Jared and I drink) and don't know if that maybe has some effects too.

Any other thoughts on this topic?

I'll bump this back up for you in case it got missed. I don't have the answer...have you already done a search of our past discussions on this? I'm thinking you have because you mentioned Angel eyes which others have mentioned in the past, but in case you haven't. Type in 'staining' into the search box in our forum and see if you come up with anything.
