Does your doodle rest his head on things?

Gracie rests her head on things all the time like maybe her head is heavy. The funniest is when she gets on a chair by the bay window of our living room to look out. She will rest her head on the back of the chair, even while she barks at offending neighbors. Lazy or smart? It's hilarious!!! LOL

I think maybe it's Jackdoodle's big nose that's too heavy!

Yup! Mazie does the same thing in "her" chair by the picture window in our living room. She'll also lay or lean her head on hard surfaces (the side of a bookcase, the hope chest at the foot of our bed, etc.) it's kind of strange and hard to explain, but she'll rest her head on just about anything and look perfectly comfortable. None of my other dogs did this. Maybe it's a doodle thing?

My non-doodle has done this all her life, you're right, it's like her head is too heavy. She has a big block head (probably from her golden retriever daddy). When she was a tiny puppy her head was almost as big as the rest of her body, it was always tilted as if she couldn't hold it up straight because it was just too heavy!

Ozzie likes to rest his head too. Does Gracie have to rest her head on your leg, back, whatever body part to chew a biscuit or bone?

No, not for bones. I guess she thinks I may take it if she brings it that close!
