Humping stage?

I am wondering if your dogs were into humping when they were nine months old.

Porter has never been a big humper of anything...people or other dogs. He did it here and there as a young puppy.

Well, ever since I started practicing for a dance show at home, he has been more into humping. Whoops. It is not a real booty-focused dance, but I think I may have triggered something. Obviously, I won't dance in front of him anymore. But was this a stage and age thing or did I flip a switch in him?

Has this happened to anyone else?

Once he humped my right leg; the other times he put his front paws on my outstretched arms and humped the air between us...isn't it romantic lol.

I don't actually think it is amorous behavior. I think he was just really excited to see me making dramatic physical movements.
