Transitioning from 3 meals/daily to 2.

We are feeding Chewie twice daily now. So, now the same amount of food that was being divided into three meals is now two which makes for a very full looking bowl at each meal. It seems like so much for him to eat. Is this the proper way to transition him, or should I have gradually decreased the mid-day meal while increasing the other two?

If he's having no problem - you're fine. It's nice to be done with that third feeding isn't it?

We just took out the midday meal all together and divided that amount she normally ate in half. My concern was that Maddy was going to be hungry in between those 2 meals but she was fine. Occasionally she gets a couple carrots or a biscuit midday but not everyday.

So far, he's doing good. We are also transitioning him to a new food as well. Yes, it is wonderful not to be tied down to that middle of the day meal!
