I went through all of my old pics of Lucy for the 2010 calendars and 99% of them are no good. SO, I decided to take photos of her today on this gorgeous day. WELL, either it is me or she is just being a smarty pants. She would NOT look at me >:-o I ended up taking tons of pics just to get a couple to send to Adina. I would not be a good pet or, for that matter, baby photographer. I do not have the patience. Here are a couple of examples, and she deliberately would not look at me. She would move her eyes to look at me, but not her head. How do you guys do it. I see some great pics here on DK, I am jealous.
I think some of my best pictures of Phoebe are taken when she is not looking at me or the camera. I do a sneak attack--have the camera out and around for a while so it is a non-attraction--and then I start snapping away with the zoom. Phoebe also loves peanut butter so a little bit on a bone held behind my head by my son will give us some great shots. I also agree with asking her a question or calling her name. I love the cocked head and the inquisitive eyes I get from Phoebe when I do so.

I break up a few cookies and pocket them . . .then I hold one piece at a time on top of the camera! Bodi gets the piece of cookie after each shot. It works for us!
Well, don't feel bad. I have no skill at all, I was just blesse that Fozzy Bear is the biggest ham I have ever seen, I think he takes after my youngest son.......the camera comes out and the posing begins!
Digital photos are so great. I take hundreds of photos and usually there are one or two out of the hundreds that are suitable to upload to DoodleKisses! (That's my secret.)
