Does anyone have a mini GD that doesn't look doodle at all? Our second doodle looks like a black retriever as far as his coat, but he has very long legs and a long nose. Bailey is very skinny and only weights not quite 18 pounds at 20 weeks! This is my daughter's dog and she wanted a dog that did not look like our other GD and this puppy was available. To me he is funny looking, but my daughter thinks our first GD is funny looking, so to each there own!
I would love to see a picture of a GD that doesn't look like a GD. The attached picture is 7 weeks old as I don't have newer ones on my computer yet. He is much skinnier and he nose is longer, but you can see his coat.
Yes, look at Cooper, he is my GD without the Doodle. But he is awesome, and then there is Misty she is a Labradoodle and so curley that its hard to keep her coat brushed. We have had to shave her several times because she matts so easily. Its had to get a perfect GD or LD.
From what I could see from your picture, Cooper has some hair on his nose, Bailey has none!!
I see you are on C******, I am in Marietta; are you attending the romp this weekend? I am hoping we can make it and would love to see Cooper in person.
He is an adorable pup!! I have seen pictures of quite a few doodles that don't look like the traditional doodle. I do think that they often change quite a bit as they mature. I am glad that you and your daughter each got the dog that is perfect for you.

Take a look at Steve's Gabbi, she isn't a GD but a ALD and is pretty flat coated. She is just a doll, finally met them
last weekend.
