Goldendoodles and cats

I was wondering if anyone has any advice on having cats and a Doodle. I have three cats, and my Doodle does chase them, and he has had one of my cats pinned under his mouth before but never hurt him, but I do have concerns. My male cat seems to love the Doodle as he's always hanging around near him. I've taught him leave it, and he obeys most of the time. Is this breed a breed that could hurt a cat?

I have a shepard mix dog who used to give chase a bit when he was a puppy, but he is 6 now, and the cats and dog sleep together on his bed. My Doodle is just an 8 month old puppy, and I have taught him the leave it command, and am using it when he gives chase. I would be devastated if anything were to happen one of my cats. Two of my cats do not have claws but one of them does.

Thank you I will check it out. I had a behaviorist come in when I was first training him to deal with his special issues, and I told her about it, and she didn't seem to think it was anything to worry about because she felt that if he was going to hurt him he would have just done it. I on the other hand am not convinced, but I'm a worry wart!!! I really do appreciate all the advice everyone!!!

BTW this morning I walked downstairs to see my cat (the one he had pinned) and Lincoln just sitting together beside each other looking out the gate. It was the funniest thing. For whatever reason my Nebelung cat loves this dog!!! He constantly is trying to hang out with him in the kitchen. The only time I think it could get dicey is if he gave chase, but I'm trying really hard to correct that behavior with the leave it command, and he stops, but I need him to not chase at all!!! I did have this issue with Scottie my 6 year old shepard mix, and he eventually stopped chasing the cats so I'm hoping this will be the same. In the meantime I'm doing my best to keep an eye out. I just wish my cat wouldn't want to hang around with him so much. The other cats stay clear!!! I can't say he's too smart!!! lol

We have 2 cats 12 and 13 yo. Motta and Miley have never chased them. The cats actually run the house :) Motta and Miley move for them most of the time or the cat will come lay on the puppies to be cuddled.

When I went to the breeders house to pick up the puppies there were a few house cats so I think they just grew up with them.
