I am having problems adding comments

are you????? When I go to a blog or post and try to add a comment it will not add it. I notice that when I bring up a blog and type in the comment the "add comment" is blurred. Any suggestions? I have rebooted etc. Just wandering if it is just me

I've been having that problem with the blogs today too, Karen. I've had to do it twice; the first time I try, the symbols for "bold", italicize, etc. aren't there, and nothing happens when I hit "comment" either. But it seems better now.

I had that problem with a blog earlier today. I didn't notice any blurriness but clicking add wasn't working.

Do you know how to clean your cookies that are stored on your puter when you visit web sites?

To clean Cookies from a Computer….This will help when on web sites and also keep your puter running smoother.
If you have millennium you can do it this way
You need to be at your desk top and have everything else closed on your computer.
Do you have the big E for Internet Explorer on your desktop?
If you do you should be able to right click one time and a drop down box appears…go to Internet Options and click on it.
Another box will come up called Internet Properties,
Under the General Tab…middle of the box is Browsing History…Click on Delete
Another box will come up with little boxes to put a check mark inside to delete, Internet Files and Folders, Cookies, etc…Click in each box to clean your Cookies and so on. Than click on Delete. Once your done deleting all of this…Reboot your computer. You must reboot every time to clean your computer and this should be done every time you go off line.


XP users need to be on their homepage and top right side of screen click on TOOLS…than Internet Options in the drop down box

Although it might be a good idea, I doubt we'd all be having the same problem at once. Also, I hate having to log into site anew and I really don't care who knows where I've been.

Well for most of us who do on line banking, or pay bills on line...I would care about hackers, why make it easier for them?

Cookies, as I understand it, are generally considered safe and do anonymous tracking of activity...they don't really know WHO you are, etc.

Yes that is for cookies, but when you frequent a site there are Tracking Cookies. Tracking Cookies can be used to get your personal information off of site you frequently visit if you purchase products off of them. It is illegal for a site to give out your information, but they do to other marketers, and why and how you keep getting spamed. Some people are unaware of this.

When having technical issues that are new (in other words things used to work fine), in addition to posting here be sure to go to the VERRRRYYYY bottom of DK and click on 'report an issue' -- for true problems (vs. 'How do I upload photos?' type questions) it helps if members fill out that form. So if rebooting, trying a diff browser, etc doesn't work, do fill out that form. Thanks :)
