I am having problems adding comments

are you????? When I go to a blog or post and try to add a comment it will not add it. I notice that when I bring up a blog and type in the comment the "add comment" is blurred. Any suggestions? I have rebooted etc. Just wandering if it is just me

LOL at your 'psychology of' question. I was at work and stopped by briefly...mostly on my phone . Fireworks was quicker than writing an announcement. Anyone is welcome to make the announcement if you like :)

Thanks everyone for your response. I am glad it is not just me. I didn't report it yet Adina, b/c I wanted to see, first, if It was just me. So now that I know, I will go ahead and report it. I just tried again and it is still happening. AND, I didn't see the fireworks. CONGRATS on the 5000 members. I noticed earlier that we were close. WHOOHOO

I still am not able to leave comments on other member's pages, however, I believe I may have found the problem. If you remember, I could not click on the "Add Comment" button on other members pages and post a comment. Nothing would happen. I had tried disabling my security software without success. I also tried other our computers with different security software still without success.

On recommendation from my husband, I tried something different. We use, exclusively, Mozilla Firefox as our web browser. He asked me to use MS Internet Explorer and see if that made a difference. It did. I added comments without a problem. He explained some web pages do not work well with Firefox because of subtle differences in coding. Some will not work at all. It seems this particular button on the comments page does not like Firefox while the rest of the buttons on other comment pages, like in the forums, work OK.

My fix will be to use Internet Explorer if I want to leave a comment. I am not sure what a complete fix would be, but maybe a comment like, "This website works best with Internet Explorer", would alert people to use IE for their browsing on DK. Hope this helps.

I don't think that's true though. I use, and I think, Adina uses Firefox and I have no problem with comments, etc. So not sure what the problemis or was.
