Dog Flu?????

I just heard on the radio this morning that there is a flu that affects dogs. Has anyone heard of it???? I think they called it H2N2(something like that anyway). The radio broadcast said that you might want to keep your dog away from dog parks and kennels. It also said to check with your vet about a vaccination. I will be getting my puppy in October so I wanted to know if this is something I should be aware of. Thanks

I am so sorry Peri does not feel good. How is she eating? I would take a wait and see approach if she is eating O.K. I would call my vet and see if they had any thoughts as well. They might have seen something similar. Oh I can not wait until you have children!!

She is eating. I just called vet and they said to see how she is during lunch. I do have an appt. for 5pm today.

Yes Leigh, raising a child will be interesting one day :) As husband was getting upset about Peri on Saturday, I asked him how he would react when our baby/child gets sick? He told me "you know I am paranoid and it is even worse because dogs can't talk and you just don't know what is wrong". That has some truth I guess :)

Infants are the same way. Until they are around 4 or 5 years old, you really have no idea!

I am just teasing!! You know how I have been about runny poo! My DH is the one who thinks I am crazy! It's interesting to see things from a different view! especially a woman's view who thinks similar to my DH. Please let me know what he says! I will say a prayer for Lady Peri!
