upgrading profile picture

I'm not able to upload a new picture for my profile. What's going on?

First Question: Is this the first time you have ever tried to change you photo? Have you been successful in changing your profile photo in the past?

First time I've tried to change it. No problem uploading the original picture.

I've changed mine. Did you go to edit above your profile and then to browse, etc?

I go to profile, change profile picture, choose a file, select it...it doesn't load.

Try just going to profile, edit then browse next to picture and select the new picture and see what happens. Make sure to select upload or add, etc.

After I choose the file, how do I tell it to 'upload'? Most applications automatically upload when you choose.

I think if you go to the bottom and hit save the new picture will replace the old one. Let me know if it works.

One more step I am not seeing. Choose Save after you do all of the above steps. You may have to scroll down on the page and on my screen it is on the bottom right.

Opps A1 Parker and I must have been typing at the same time. We both agree, what might be going wrong is that you are correctly doing all the steps but the final step " SAVE" is missing.

Also, make sure something is written in the box next to the old picture. For instance, with my set up I have to go to the picture I want after browsing, then I need to click open which puts the address in the box next to the old picture. Then going to save should do it. By next week you'll be teaching someone else.

Has it worked? Did I forget to tell you that I usually have to try something like this at least three times before I have followed all of the directions!
