Any recommendations for "stick" vacuums. I mulch my leaves with the lawn mower and now tons of leaf fragments come in with the dogs. My old stick vacuum is dying, probably from overwork. I guess I'm not the only one with the outside being brought in on a regular basis. I want something easy to use often and cordless.
Wow, I have never heard of " The Stick", but I do sympathize with the outside coming inside. Unfortunately every sweeper I have breaks. I kill all of them. I am down to a broom ( which is on a stick ) and a dust pan :(
Waaa Whine
OH OKAY. Well, I worked for an OB/GYN for two miserable years. UGH. Not my thing. But if she wants to go into labor she can email me, and I can tell her how to go into labor tonight. :)
And we should get back to Broom Chat. We Old Witches Need a New Broom!
It just reminds me......
When I was little (4 years old) I called my mother a witch. I hear the bedroom door open, and I knew I was in really big trouble.
She flew through my room on a broom. Several times. Than sat down on my bed and talked to me about not saying those kinds of things. She is such a patient sweetheart. :)
Now here is a question that I can offer some assistance on! I use this broom for all of the area rugs. For the wood laminate floors I use the Swiffer Sweeper Vac (I actually have 2 in case the battery runs down). If you have a dog that sheds, the Electrolux brush will get clogged up and stop turning, but it is easy to pop off and clean.
The Swiffer Sweeper Vac is my favorite to quickly pick up those errant fur balls--yes, Phoebe has decided to shed her puppy coat! It is light and surprisingly efficient plus, the Swiffer pad keeps the dust off the wood floors. Lucy and Sophie's Mom and I should get some product endorsement money...no?
Oh I should have bought stock in the Swiffer company years ago. I love all their floor products. And you are right I do think endorsement money is in line as I'm always telling people how much I love them. I find with Sophie's hair if I just broom sweep I don't get it up but if I use the swiffer or swiffer sweeper it is gone! It is particularly awful in our new house because the floors are dark so they show every speck of dust and Sophie hair!
