Say Hello to our New Live Chat!
Good Morning early doodlers!
Something I've been awaiting for a while is our very own live chat feature. It's here...in all it's beta glory =)
As the new chat's bugs and issues are slowly massaged away...it will get better and better over the next few days and you do/will have the options to:
--Instant Message another site member who is online to have a private chat--you will get a little yellow message at the bottom of the chat box that says "So and So wants to chat with you" and you can click "accept" or "decline"
--Click Change your status to show you as "offline" if you would prefer not to be seen.--please bear with us until this part is fully loaded. I think you are only "visible" if you are on the main page and chat page right now.
Also only members will be able to use our chat--so random outsiders will not be able to troll the chat room. Discussions might still be visible to non-members though...not sure.
If you don't mind being guinea pigs...drop in every so often today and if you SEE the chat box...start chatting away...try it out and report ANY bugs or issues here so I can get them addressed. DO EXPECT random down time on the chat here and there for a while.

It will go in and out of availability...expect that for a while =) But I promise it will get better and better over the next few days!

oops - it actually says internet explorer cannot display web page....
I'm sure it will be neat..... all the changes have been great, I can only assume this will be just as good!! -

I think it's having issues with I.E. do you ever use Mozilla Firefox? No matter...it may be better when you come back later and it SHOULD work for all browsers when it is done.

It says "chat" but no luck can't click it:( Should you be able to click on that word?

See my comment to Trina above. When it comes back it will be a big white box with online members listed on the right side and the chat in the center.

Yeah...it's being worked on...so while it is being worked on it's "down" -- grrr...I'm SOOO impatient =)

What browser are you using and have you tried to refresh the page a few times? its on.
