I would love to hear them all from everyone!

I'll give you a few examples:

Blake will not leave the house for a walk without grabbing his beloved stuffed Alligator...He takes it eveywhere we go and will carry it for the entire walk, putting it down briefly to sniff for awhile but always remembers exactly where he left it and won't continue on without it...If I pick it up and hide it in my fanny pack, he knows it immediately and won't budge til I take it out and give it back to him....At night he sleeps on the end of my bed with it .....resting his chin on it like a pillow....That is...when he isn't sleeping on his back with all four paws up in the air snoring in my ear......

He also collects things he finds outside around the house...Acorns, pinecones and rocks..He's very particular about the kinds of rocks he prefers...they must be smooth and round...He doesn't eat them...He just seems to like the sound that they make on my wooden floor as he bats them around.....He will actually bring them inside, pull up my rug exposing the wood floor, lie down and bat the item back and forth in his paws making as much noise as he can....I have an entire collection of his treasures in my kitchen....I'll have to take a picture of Blakes's collection and post it......

Post your whack-a-doodle stories!

I have Halas' toys in a dog bed. He likes to pull the bed out from the corner, dump all of the toys out, and then play with the bed. So the toys sometimes end up in a big pile, but it's not because he put them there on purpose. But I do think he likes all of the toys to be out, instead of put away in a box.
Sounds like a normal little kid that likes the box better than the gift that came in it! Daisy is always pulling her toys out of her basket and leaving them all over. I've tried to teach her to pick them up but, again, like a little kid she won't do it!
I am sorry to say that Blake is a spoiled child when it comes to toys.....He has two toy baskets....I know..I know....I'm a spoiler!...One basket is for stuffed toys which he LUVS....He never chews on them or destroys them but loves to lay on his back and flip them then he will hold them close to him in his paws, (it's very cat-like really) and he just kind of sucks on them like a furry pacifier..Especially that damn stuffed alligator he insists on carrying with him where ever he goes...The other toy basket has balls and squeeky toys...It's by the door ...and no matter what time of day or night it is, even if he's just going for a pee, he will not walk out the door without the alligator AND a ball...He will actually carry them both outside....He's a nut!...
We call Daisy "Swivel Butt". She lays on the couch with us, with her head on our lap. Her butt is in about the middle of the couch. When she wants to change positions, she just sits up and flops her head to the other end of the couch. Her butt never moves! She is the epitome of laziness.
We have two doodles... Dooley (male) and Snickers (female) Dooley is our resident clown and lover boy.. He has three traits that crack us up... First, he loves it when we play fetch with him by throwing his favorite toy in the pool for him to jump in swim to it and bring it back... except, he likes to take "victory" lap around the outside of the pool before coming to drop the toy at our feet so we can start the proceedure all over again. His second and probably favorite thing to do is catch me napping in my recliner, stand on the foor rest, push down with his front legs to raise me up, then climbs up and sits on my lap! We have an oriental runner in the foyer. When we play fetch in the house, we will throw a toy down the hall to the foyer... Dooley causally walks down the hall until he reaches the rug, then bounces on the toy with gusto and then runs back to us with the toy in his mouth and a grin on his face...

Snickers loves to go into my closet, open my sock drawer and extract a pair of my sox then she jumps on the bed and begins to play with the sox. I take them away from her, put them back in the drawer and once my back is turned, she goes back in the closet and extracts a different pair of socks...After dinner at night, Snickers will come to the kitchen where I am on my laptop, and lays her head in my lap and look up at me soulfully until I give her her nightly helping of yogurt or a treat. Afterwards, she lays down beside me and watchfully naps until bed time..
Both our doodles like to sleep on their backs with tummies fully exposed, so we can give them tummy rubs while then drift off to sleep, usually hogging the bulk of our king sized bed.... We love it!! In the mornings, the wife and I usually wake up with each of us having a doodle snuggled up to use fast asleep.
They truly have made our empty nest a loving home full of laughter and joy once again.
That's a great story!....How funny that Dooley knows how to push down the footrest of the recliner!....and Snickers sounds like a trip too!....I understand the fascination with socks and the need to open drawers....I have a low drawer where I keep my winter scarves, hats and gloves...Blake too figured out how to open it and pulls every single thing out of the drawer, makes a pile of my winter gear on my bed and makes a nest for himself in the middle......Many a night I have come home to find him plopped down on my bed surrounded in fleece......He has also figured out how to open some doors.....It's pretty amazing to watch...I live in a large first floor apartment in a ninteenth century mansion that has been subdivided...There are four other dogs that live in the building who are best buddies with Blake...I have a door that opens from my living room into a common foyer...All Blake wants to do is hang on the grand staircase in the foyer with his ball and his buds....So he has devised a way to turn the door knob completely by standing on his back legs, holding it in his paws and turning it little by little with his mouth till he hears the click...then still standing on his back legs, he walk forward pushing the door open and scoots through....when he does this he looks like a little furry man!...lol....I'm so amazed by this, that I can't bring myself to lock the foyer door....It's just too cute!
Jenel I love that!...I can actually picture Sidiqi running and flinging his greenie.....As far as the rock thing, YIKES!.....Sorry that he eats them...That can be pretty dangerous...I have a friend who raises Bernese Mountain Dogs and one of her pups displays many signs of Pica...( eating of non-food items)...He swallowed a rock nad developed an intestinal blockage that required surgery....Four grand later he is doing fine post surgery but my friend is desperate to break her pup of this habit.....
Just thought of another funny habit of Blake's...and maybe some of you have had similar experiences with your Doodles.

No matter where he is in my house, ( usually it's wherever I happen to be as he usually won't let me out of his sight for an instant..lol) but on the rare occasions when he is in another room, if he hears the toilet flush no matter who is in the bathroom, he RUNS like a lunatic into the bathroom to watch the water go down the toilet.....It's HYSTERICAL to watch because his little head turns in rhythm with the swirling water until it disappears.....He's fascinated with the concept.....
