Looks like Guinness has a new haircut. Most of these "heavyweight" doodles are male, especially the larger ones. Is Guinness the largest of the large?

Sure seems to be! I know Shannon from IDOG RRR has a male who's over 100 lbs, but not 118!!!

Yes, Guinness had a haircut in that pic, sometimes he is more of a shaggy doodle!! His Dad was a very tall standard poodle, Mom was a regular labby lady. He couldn't be a sweeter, kinder dog. I am sure there are bigger doodles then him, but i know they couldn't be sweeter then this furkid!! Here is is visiting at my sisters house, he was checking out her new coffee table!! Oh yeah...It's a sturdy one!! LOL

I really do think that he will get heavier, though. They ususally continue to build muscle & bone well past their first birthdays.
I sincerely doubt that's going to make you any less crazy about him, lol! But his lap-sitting days might be over!

THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENT...MY HUSBANDS HOPES HE STILL WILL GROW SOME MORE..IT REALLY DOES NOT MATTER TO ME..THE ONLY THING IS IF OZZY IS LYING WITH ME AND STRECHES HE CAN PUSH ME OFF THE BED OR COUCH...HE IS VERY STRONG. Yep, you will adjust to whatever size he is. But 8 months - he's not through growing yet. Both of our dogs continued growing until about 18 months. I try not to feed them too much, but they are accustomed to eating twice a day and are insistent on continuing that schedule.

I'm not sure how tall mine are but they each eat one bowl a day just however much the people feeding them put in. Our smaller little girl is 85# and our big boy is about 105# and he is one skinny little guy...

The same size as our dogs! A suggestion for you: try to reduce the size of your photos before you post them. I find 250 to 500 KB is more than enough. These large 1.9 MB take a long time to open and they are not as clear as a more compressed photo.

Look at that tounge! Haha! So very cute! I think he looks like a big white teddy bear. My Toby is 8 months old and I think he probably weighs about 75 pounds now. I was hoping he was done growing but now that he's gotten so big I don't actually mind how big he is. It's actually pretty cool. He's soo big and lovable.
