Help - I have GLOWING EYES

In Fozzy's pictures. I have Elements 7 and cannot figure out how to do fix them. Any tips for a photoshop idiot???

This is the only time I've let any one see this picture...but for related purposes, I will regretfully show it. This was my "accident" with using the regular photoshop/pencil option and "dabbing" the eyes with black to correct the gold. My dog looks posessed, scary, and as I said, no one else has seen this picture. I have no idea why it is even in my photo album to this day...probably because it was needed for this purpose :-)

Now, see, I dont' think this is bad. Mine ended up turning out ok, because it is for the Christmas cards and his eyes are so small on the card. But I would never know this was photoshopped if you didn't tell me. It almost looks like you can see a reflection of someone in his eyes.

Well, I do appreciate you saying it doesn't look bad. I guess when it's your own dog and you compare a normal picture, it's like, "AHHHH! What did I do"?!?!?! I wish I would have kept the original to compare. I'm thinking if it wasn't such a close up shot, it would have been better, I just think she looks wierd :-) They like match her nose! :-)
