This was a wonderful slide show. Thanks so much for sharing. dk members have followed many of these dogs and it is wonderful to see photos of them, especially the ones with their new families.
I remembered so many of these dogs this year and to now see them in this happy slide show is to emotional for words. Great Work DRC. Merry Christmas from all of these doodles. Merry Christmas from my foster Lace. Without you, she would not be here. LOVE YOU ALL!
What a nice blog to wake up to, now I am off to VOTE
When you see all these beautiful rescued doodles together in one slideshow like this, with every color, coat type, size, and age represented, when you see the love in their eyes, you can't help being struck by the fact that they are no different from the ones that may be lying at your feet right now. One of them might be your dog's littermate.(And these are just the dogs who have come through the DRC in the past 6 months.) But somehow, all of these beautiful doodles ended up homeless through no fault of their own.
I have occasionally seen comments here on DK like "there's a reason they're in the pound". I hope this slideshow will help dispel that myth. The "reason" these dogs were homeless is human ignorance, cruelty, and greed. We can all help put an end to that and help make sure that every doodle is "Home for Christmas".
Please go vote for the DRC.
And thanks for the slideshow, Jac.
Thank you all for all that you do and for the Holiday Wishes. I have to let everyone know that this slideshow was Karen's brilliant idea!...She is my muse and my touchstone...
I want to tell each and every one of you that it's because of all of YOU that we are able to do what we do....Truly the DRC is not one person.......The DRC is many people...... a community of friends.....an extended family and you are all part of our family.......Thank you again everyone.
