Flip Video Cameras

I kind of want a Flip video camera from DH for xmas. The main reason I want it is to video the dogs and post them on DK. DH thinks I am a little loony of course.

My question is: any DK members have one and if so, is the video quality good?

I have the Flip Mino HD and it's been great - most of the videos on our Doodle page were taken using the Flip. Doesn't get much easier than the Flip!

I don't personally own one, but we have an office one that we use all the time (we make a lot of silly videos on how NOT to sell!) and it is great quality! I bought one for my sister and her family for Hanukkah and they love it too (and they find it easy to use...and they are not so good with anything related to technology).

I love my little Flip and use it for all my videos, including the videos I have uploaded here.
You should get one. I got mine from Amazon and it was inexpensive and works well. The only thing I can't do is put my videos on a disc but they do have a service for that.

Can someone more tech savy tell me the differences between the minoHD and the ultraHD, both are 249$. Seems the ultra has 8 GB vs 4GB.

Todd, I had been researching these pretty heavily, going to get one for my wife. The mino HD model just came out with 2 hour model, believe it is M2120. The numbers signify 120 minutes, most of the other models have numbers with 60 in them which are for 1 hour. The mino has a built in hard drive and is the latest model and the smallest. I hope that the DK model is the mino HD with 2 hours recording. The list price for them is $229 and there are many places that sell them for $229, but there are some places that you can purchase for $199. I have all the places that you can purchase the mino M2120 for $199. I am now waiting to see what model that DK has. The Ultra was the older model, they still sell them but they are a little less expensive. d

I am just so behind the times...I feel like they just started advertising for them heavily and that is when I got interested. Can't wait to see the doodle designs!

We have one, the quality is great and it is super easy to use. My biggest regret is not having it when Tyson was younger, we could have gotten some great footage.
