Proviable Users, I Have Some Questions

My turn to ask for advice. :)
Jasper's digestive system has gotten a little bit "off" the past few weeks. I'm chalking it up to new and different treats, and too many of them; the treats were being dispensed very liberally during the weeks leading up to his CGC test, lol. Nothing major, but I decided that probiotics would probably help.

I ordered Proviable and started it the other day. But I can't figure out the best way to give it to him. They're called "sprinkle capsules", so I assumed that you just open them and sprinkle over the dog's food. Which would work well I imagine if the food is wet. But sprinkling the contents of the capsule over kibble seems to result in most of the probiotic powder lying on the bottom of the food bowl after he's done eating. 
What am I doing wrong? Any tips? 
I really do not want to give him any canned food or peanut butter, and while I'm very good at "pilling" dogs, i.e. putting it down their throats, I hate to have to start doing that when this isn't medication and he's not sick.

I give Henry his Proviable capsule every morning with his dry kibble.  Basically, I make my fingers wet with water & sprinkle a good dose of water on the center/middle portion of his food. ...this is a small area.   Then, I sprinkle to capsule right on the wet part & the powder sticks to his food.  He gobbles it up & I don't even think he notices that it is there.

I give my dogs EPO daily. They are happy to have the capsules shoved down their throats because they know Pure Bite liver treats follow. That’s what I would do with the Proviable.

I just really really try to avoid the routines I had with JD, which included meds and supplements down his throat 4 times a day. It's an emotional thing. It may seem crazy but you better than anyone will understand, F.  If I have to do it with Jasper, I will, but if I can avoid it...

I just sprinkle it on Jaxson's dry Origen food and toss the food in the bowl and it seems to stick to the kibble.  I don't think he notices it's there either!

I don't think Jasper noticed it either, but he also didn't eat it. Maybe I need to try tossing. :)

i have those same sprinkle capsules.  Mila does get wet food -well brand.  

However I have mixed the powder and put it in the middle of a bit of cream cheese or peanut butter which she will gladly gobble  up

I know you don't like peanut butter, but I literally touch the end of the pill on the PB and Willow takes it like a treat. There's not enough on there to do any harm. Of course, I think she might take it like that without the PB residue on it. She might be special. I'm trying to think, what else could you sprinkle it on that it would stick to? Maybe a little piece of cooked chicken? Maggie I just pill. She's not impressed with any sneaky methods of getting her to eat it. She really doesn't seem to mind though.

I am not buying peanut butter. Ever. 

Really trying to avoid the mashed sweet potato coatings, etc. And I don't think I will ever be able to boil a chicken breast again in this life. 
I just thought I was buying something that could be given as is, like his chewable Sentinel. Without having to use coatings, pill pockets, cooked or canned foods, etc. Just sprinkle in the food bowl. 
And I'm kicking myself for buying 80 of them, because I think this isn't going to work.

What about yogurt? Does he ever get a dollop? You could just sprinkle it on that, it would stick. You don't even have to mix it in, mine don't act like it tastes bad. Maybe that wouldn't feel as much like you're medicating him. 

I wish I didn't like peanut butter so much. I try to stay out of the dogs, one jar would last the rest of my life, but sometimes I find myself borrowing some of theirs. It just tastes so good!

He was getting yogurt every night, as "dessert" and then he decided to stop eating it. Now he'll eat it once in awhile. If he were still eating the yogurt, I wouldn't have needed to buy Proviable, lol.

He isn't sick, he doesn't have anything even close to diarrhea. He's just a little irregular, straining bit here and there, sometimes a little loose, more often too firm. Some people wouldn;t think anything of it, I probably shouldn;t either. But he went 70 hours last week without a BM.  Up til now his digestion was PERFECT. I mean textbook.  I want that back again.
