What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: My boys name is Indy. Indy is a carmel colored Australian Labradoodle. He is 6 months old and has a 3 year old brother shaggy. Shaggy is our cat which he loves to chase around the house. Shaggy is not so fond of Indy. They are coming to terms slowly. Indy is a bit of a slow learner right now and loves to test the waters.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I chose an Australian Labradoodle for the temperment. I also like that they dont shed, highly intelligent and loves to please.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Indy goes everywhere with me. We love hiking camping watersports and just drives in the car.

At 9:58am on January 5, 2011, Adina P said…: I have hosted a romp in someone's yard before (boxer owners) and I simply had people sign a liability waiver. It was before DK and wasn't connected directly to any organization. We had 13 doodles show up and it was lots of fun. The waiver also required up-to-date vaccinations for dogs in attendance and all were told of this in advance. It worked out quite well. To advertise I contact groomers, vets, pet stores all over WW and TC and sometimes faxed posters to them. So that's a possibility. There is a (not-so-good) breeder locally, a good breeder in Zilla, and yours in the TC area so there should be plenty of doodles AROUND :)

I live in the Walla Walla area and wanted to say hello :) I haven't planned a romp in almost 2 years because I had a baby last year and didn't want to visit the dog park pregnant after getting knocked over by two running great danes earlier. I keep trying to find a location for a romp that is NOT a dog park (for greater control of what dogs are present) but I haven't come across anything that doesn't require event insurance. Is there anything in Tri Cities that would work?
