About Me:: I am a stay at home mom of 3 children and 2 dogs! We have a almost 10 year old golden retriever and just got an 8 week old goldendoodle! My husband and I enjoy every second of our family time!

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have a 50/50 doodle. His name is Sawyer.
We also have a 10 year old golden retriever named Sparticus.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I love the look of the goldendoodle.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We love to take walks and play in the backyard.

At 2:50pm on August 26, 2012, Lori, Rooney & Zuzu said…: Well, sadly, I see we have another thing in common then, too. Our Reagan has lymphoma and has already gone through one round of chemo. We found out just after Christmas and that was what prompted us to move forward more quickly with getting a 2nd dog. Our youngest is a huge dog lover and even though we know she will be devastated when Reagan goes, we did think it might help a little if we already has another dog at home. I have to say that at first we thought we had done the meanest thing possible to Reagan because the puppy drove him crazy!! But finally, around the time Rooney was about 4 months, he settled down and they have learned to be good companions. I think Reagan even sort of grudgingly likes him now. :) But we have seen Reagan age a lot this summer so we are all thinking this may be his last summer with us. Hopefully not, but cancer is so aggressive in dogs... :(

You must have one busy household!! My oldest is going to be a senior in high school, my middle will be a Freshman and our youngest is going into 2nd grade. Never a dull moment!

Now that my youngest is in 2nd grade I do some substitute teaching at her school now and then, but I'm mostly still home. And we also have an older Golden Retreiver in addition to our Doodle Rooney (who is actually a labradoodle). Our GR, Reagan, is 8 1/2 years old. And, on top of that, I see your pup's name is Sawyer which is our last name. :) He's adorable! Welcome!
