Has any Doodle parent used the heartworm shot that is suppose to last for six months?All three of my Doodles spit the heartworm/flea meds out. Shea will eat a sock,but not a pill!!Continue

- I have always had dogs.Afer my Cujo died at 17 I didn't know if I wanted another dog.Then I found a picture of a Doodle.It was love at first site.I got one,then Igot another,then a rescue. They are like chips,You can't have just ONE.

- 1. shea , after shea stadium in New York. Hes a big crazy guy .2 Mya, the grand kids pulled her name out of a hat filled with lots of names,Aja,named after a Steely Dan song and she is a rescure through DRC puppy mill dog,now we have Zane,a labradoodle.we rescued from Michigan and as of Feb 2016 we have Murphy,a puppy mill rescue also.No more Doodles or my face will be on a milkcartan.

- sooooo cute,non shedding,I fell in love with their faces.,
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- watch them play together ,just watching them because of their personalities,and we love to take rides in the convertible.

- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I have taken them to a number of groomers.I go to the groomers who listen to how I want them trimed.So many want to give the poodle look.I like the shaggy unkept look.

Your profile doodle looks a lot like my Amos. IMAG0711.jpg He has bulked up a lot since this picture. We got him from an organization in Xenia who trains them to work with handicapped kids and he did not pass the test. Bad for them, good for us. He is just a little skittish at noises. Loves to camp, loves the snow, and loves his toys!

Hi Lynette - sounds like I am very close to your sons! It's nice to be on this site. I lost my first labradoodle in February 2013 at the age of almost 10 -- she was definitely my soulmate if that's possible. We got Lulu the next month -- our house was so lonely without her -- and while she is nothing like Chessa (looks, tempermanent) I love her dearly! I have no idea how this site works other than getting info but will explore more :) Thanks for friending me.
Lynette, I just read a post from earlier this year about barking and wondered if you have been successful in curbing barking. If so, what did you do? We still find that the e-collar works so well for us. It seems to have discouraged the long term barking habit. Now the dogs tend to bark, but stop and come back inside. Yay! We still always use it when we leave the RV so they don't bark at other campers.
