No one apparently wants a four month old, tall, labradoodle at fancypuppy in corona. They have dropped the price and will probably take anything. We have two already, but I thought if someone wanted…Continue

Al, when you send a message to a group, no one can respond unless they can find your page like I did. What kind of dark spots? In general doodles do some color changing as they age and sometimes in a light dog, areas of apricot appear. Dark spots also appear in response to an injury - doesn't have to be a serious injury. These areas will eventually lighten up again.
OOPs - hit add too soon. Wilbur was 36 pounds and very doodle looking in his photo - so you showing an interest in him for rescue was spot on.
Your city shelter is very nice! Wilbur was re-adopted by his owners after I called and left to view him. Hopefully his escape was a one time thing for his family and getting neutered will curb his wanting to escape. Next time you find a dog you think is a doodle, you can send me a link and I will check with the DRC to see if they want me to call the shelter for more information, with the thought of fostering it. The DRC is very leery of getting the small (under 25 lbs) white poodle mixes because they are rarely goldendoodles or labradoodles, though they are probably great dogs.
Al, please post this in our Forum. I can't post for individuals when you know the info/story. People appreciate when those in the know ask for petition signage.
Al, How long has this Latka been ill? I am so sorry. Latka is such a gorgeous doodle - both inside and out.
Al, have you called on the dog to get more information? Have you contacted the DRC? If the dog is in a kill shelter and is 30 lbs or larger, the DRC will most likely be able to help out. Please let me know where you are in this process. I just got back from a trip to Tucson and don't want to interfere with whatever you have already done. nancy
Al, Kate told me the next planned Doodle Romp in Seal Beach will be Sept. 15th
