What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have a Double Doodle. His mother is a Goldendoodle and his father is a Labradoodle. He was born 6/9/15. His name is Gatsby. He is absolutely amazing!
We have now added to our doodle family! We now have Lucca, a Goldendoodle who was born 4/23/16. He is a great companion for Gatsby! A little insane for me!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I had been looking at different breeders who had Goldendoodles and was just at the time "looking". Well over the 4th of July weekend, I took my 2 year old Bischon, Lola up to New York for the day to explore a new area. We saw a beautiful dog sitting outside a shop, so I had to ask about the dog. Well he told me he was a double doodle, which is also called a North American Retriever and was 7 months old. I asked some questions and then asked who the breeder was. I went home, looked up the breeder, contacted her and that's the end of one story and the beginning of a new journey.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: There is not one favorite thing about my doodle.......everything about him is my favorite!! Gatsby even has an Instagram! Follow him: Gatsby_The_Great_Doubledoodle :)

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Has not yet been groomed, but will use groomer that grooms my other two dogs

I forgot to mention that the photography group on this site is one of the most popular. We just got through with submissions for the 2016 calendars (DK produces 3 each year). Keep it in mind when you are taking photos of Gatsby and next year around Sept 1 you will see a notice that Adina is accepting photo submissions for the calendars. Gatsby is such a cute doodle, he would make a great calendar boy!! Will be looking for your posts and photos on DK. I hope you enjoy this site. Again, Welcome!!
