About Me:: I previously have owned many Golden Ret., now I'm sold on the best of both breeds - Doodles! I train my Doodle to hunt, both upland and waterfowl birds. As I get older, each new dog gets spoiled more than the previous one did. I groom my doodle myself, and she is employed at my jewelry store as a greeter & entertainer. ("The Ringmaker" in Boulder, CO)

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have an F1B Golden-doodle that is 3/4 Golden & 1/4 Poodle. Her name is Myah [Oh Myah Goodness She's Magic] and she stands 22 inches and weigh 48 Lbs. She is from local, very excellent, breeder- Zippity Doodles. Myah shares the house with our (giant) Papillon, Tiffany. Tiffany was raised by a Golden Ret. so she retrieves as well (when she feels like it [grin])

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I was very interested in the added intelligence, agility/athleticism, health & lifespan of a doodle. The no-shedding is BONUS! What amazing animals they are!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Retrieve, wrestle, cuddle & show off her tricks. She is an excellent hunter and i plan to give her a try at a DockDogs competition.

Favorite Doodle Products?: Anything from doodledepot.com, plus Oster groomers, Dokkens retrieving products & Wubba toys by Kong.

My husband is a hunter (hence where Hunter got HER name LOL), mostly deer and turkey but is thinking about working on water fowle with Hunter because she loves the water and retreiving. We are going to a Dock Dog compition to watch in a couple of weeks. Let me know how you guys are doing with it and about the hunting, I am really curious. You are going to love DK!!
