I just realised I missed Barneys birthday...... :-(
Hope you all had a great day - if it was anything like Ollies there was cake all around......
Did you get my text about petstock? I was sat next to a guy that works there at gym so thought if I didn't hear about it maybe you didn't....
See ya

Hi Rayelene - well after losing on the weekend the boys have managed to get the only wildcard entry into the competition on the 16th so we'll have to come up with another date.
How did you go getting Barneys matts out? I have a mobile groomer coming tomorrow for Ollie. First time I've tried one but figure at leat he won't be in a crate all day. Hes just getting a wash and a trim. Hes got an eye infection at the moment (so another trip to Max!!!!!) which he thinks he might have got by getting a bit of dust in his eye which has then aggravated him. Has cleared up pretty quickly though.
I like your new pictures, the one on Tamaruke are cute - especially the one of them together looking at the camera.
See ya

Thats a different day to what we've seen - the Entrance day is a walk. Can you take your dog to the Gosford day?
We may have a problem with the 16th now - Aarons basketball team has made the GF which is next Sunday. If they win that game they play on Orange on the 15th/16th. I'll let you know ASAP.
I took Ollie down to Berowra today and he found the one small mud puddle in the middle and had a great time!!!!
Barneys matting sounds exactly like what happened to Ollie. I went on the grooming group here and learnt all about their puppy coat (which I had no idea about) and found out that at this age you have to give them a vigorous brush every couple of days to stop matts. Didn't help us though, too late...., so you obviously saw the result. Its quite grown on me now and I like the shorter look. Def. easier to maintain. Read up on the grooming group as there is lots of info........
I just joined up on the Tamaruke chat page - hoping to catch up with some of Ollies litter.
See ya

Do you mean the Community Dog Walk on Sunday 23rd August? Its at the entrance. I didn't see it in the paper but I picked a flyer up at Erina Fair. $8 per dog to register and you have to register by 19th August. Think we might go.
I had a look at our weekends and we are good on either the 9th or 16th of August (Sunday). - we have basketball on at the moment. I'm happy to head down to either Berowra or Blenheim Park again if we want to see if Amaya and Faith want to come. Blenheim Park, even though a longer drive, works for me as the kids have something to do there. Berowra is just an oval so don't know how long kids would last without getting bored.....
I picked up a flyer at Petstock today about a new Doggy DayCare opened in Gosford. Sounds very cute but no prices on the website. Certainly not planning on paying big money but its all indoors so might be good to remember if we get a few days of rain and dogs are stuck indoors....
See ya, Sam

It was over the 9th, 10th and 11th at different shopping centres but I think youcould ring the council and be put through to someone. He didn't sound that convincing that one would happen but he also didn't sound as though he'd heard of one before so at least its put the thought in their heads. He wrote down Blenheim Park so he could have a look at it online. We should have another romp soon, a birthday party for all the dogs.....

Thank you guys. Ollie is a big one today. We took him down to the beach and he ran around like crazy and is now fast asleep in front of the fire!!
I went down to Erina yesterday and put in a request for a fenced dog park as part of the Gosford Challenge they have been advertising. Fingers crossed!!

Lovely to meet you all at last! Dylan has slept since Sunday. I'll put my photos on too. We would be happy to come up your way next time - only fair. Although that dog park is great. Amaya

Hi Raelene - I measured Dylan from his back, but he is very fluffy at the moment and wouldn't keep still for long. Will try again and see if he's more 16 than 19 inches. He just keeps growing and growing! Hope to be able to get them to meet at some point. Do you think they'll remember each other? Amaya

Hi Rayelene - I was only thinking of you guys today. I took Ollie down to the Haven at 10 today hoping to see Barney (and Steve of course....lol) - I'm sure he said that Tuesdays was his main day down there but its been a while since he said that I suppose.
Yep Ollie is pretty big!!! not quite at Groover size yet thank goodness - I pretty much think he is at full height now and will probably just fill out (fingers crossed.....) We have got week three of training tonight. He has really improved but I think that is just the constant training we are doing since we are doing the classes. He is much better at coming back but I still had to catch him today when he was playing at the park. He is great when there are no other dogs around.... The other thing we are working on is the jumping up. Getting better but still a long way to go.
How are Barney and Pebbles? Have you started any training with her? The kids are hanging out to see her.
See ya, Sam
