Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I grew up with a golden retriever and she was wonderful! As I was thinking of getting a dog for my family, I remembered her. After a LOT of research, I decided on the goldendoodle because of their temperament and training ability. I have two children I am training as well! So I need a dog that will want to be trained!
