What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Wilson is a Labradoodle. The inspiration for his name came from the movie, Castaway ... think Wilson the companion.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: My husband wanted a non or less-shedding dog. We couldn't be more pleased with Wilson's personality, intelligence and joie de vivre!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Wilson loves his puppy classes ... we're working toward becoming a Therapy Dog. He also loves his daily walks and romps with our Golden Retriever, Scarlett.

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Currently PetSmart, but we've been disappointed.

Favorite Doodle Products?: At the moment, Bitter Apple is saving our furniture from certain tragedy.

At 7:32am on October 16, 2008, Jennifer said…: Our Puppy, Roswell, is also getting huge! He was over 70lbs the last time we weighed him. Thankfully, he hasn't been too destructive as a puppy. His victims have only been his stuffed toys and a few potted plants (which he was very proud of demolishing). The group AZ Doodle Luv is planning a Doodle Romp for next spring. It would be great if you and Wilson came :)

Mickey has been great until just recently. He has torn up two pool towels, pulls his mat from under his raised food and water dish holder (without spilling anything - I started to call him our Houdini Dog), and then he tried to pull the top cushion from our lounge chairs outside, into his yard area! Yikes! It's only when we leave him alone. I also had to pick up our pile rugs in our bathroom at night as he likes to pull the strands out one by one. Mickey ate the wall below his dog door once, but we had it painted over and he hasn't done it since. Other than that he's great!

At 9:02am on August 28, 2008, GBK said…: You've got that right about the unique challenges in this heat! It's been extra humid this summer for us too, makes it even worse. I always know if I am sweating, the pups are even more uncomfortable. Can't wait for fall :)

His favorite game was rip the babies off LOL He's three now and I finally have babies on that plant again. Wilson will get there, enjoy these puppy months, they grow soooo fast.

Are you staying cool enough, we are in Vegas and this humidity is killing us.
