- About Me:
- I am a mom to 4 and a registered nurse. My husband and I have been married for 15 years. Albus joined our family December 25th 2014 and Gryffindor was an adorable pup we couldn't pass up and we got him on February 15th.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Both of our dogs are Australian Labradoodles. They actually have the same mother, so they are truly brothers! We are Harry Potter fans at our house. Hence the names Albus (Albie) and Gryffindor (Gryff or Gryffin).
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Impressed with what I have heard about them. After we got Albus we knew we would want to have another dog and going with a second Labradoodle has been perfect for us.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Right now I just love watching them interact and play with eachother, my husband and I just laugh at all their antics. We took Albus hiking and camping last summer, looking forward to doing it with Gryffin this year.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I think I am going to venture and try to do it! We have just had a local groomer do it so far

So did you get your new dog? It is the end of the year.
Be aware that Australian labradoodles are very high energy dogs (at least that is my experience). It took about two years for my ALD to settle in and he still has bursts of energy.
