- About Me:
- I am a stay at home gal who devotes quite a bit of each day to her dogs. I love walking them, training Luah for her for CWAGS and agility and just hanging out with them. I am starting an in home Pet Party business called Party Animal Pets. I will come to your home for a pet party and sell my product line as well as offer tips on raising puppies, training and general do's and don'ts of pet ownership.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- I have a 5 year old F1 Labradoodle Luah who is my love! She is a certified Therapy dog. We go to an elementary school for the kids to read to her and to an assisted living facility. I got my second F1 chocolate gal, Sydney. She is 15 months old and is a great addition to our family!
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I stumbled on my labradoodle. A friend of mine was a breeder and I went out to see her pups... you know what happened next! I had previously owned golden retrievers and although I loved them I sure don't miss the shedding. I am also thrilled by the Labradoodle's smarts because they are so trainable. The poodle in them makes them extremely devoted to you also. For my second pup I researched breeders in Ohio and ended up with Riverbend Kennels in Fayette, Ohio. They do a nice job with their pups and their breeding program.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Walk the beach on Lake Michigan, play fetch with tennis balls, Therapy work. Road trips to various places.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I do weekly and then every 3 months or so I have her professionally groomed.
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- mat buster grooming tool.

I hope Luah and Sydney didn't have too many burrs. Duke was loaded! After Mike got home from work we went down by the pond and weed wacked. We also worked on the creek and cleaned out more weeds etc. I think Duke picked up all the burrs by the pond and I wondered if Sydney did too. I wish I had the movie camera when all the dogs were running through and jumping over the creek. Sydney is a hoot!!
