About Me:: My husband and I currently live in Montrose, Colorado. We have 2 sons who are 26 and 28. One lives in Arizona and one in San Francisco. My husband just retired after 35 years on medicine. We moved to Colorado in May after living in Arizona for the past 24 years. I am a nurse but am also retired. We love our doodle!!

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have one goldendoodle. He is supposed to be a minature but is weighing in at 55 lbs. He has a beautiful cream coat.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Love Golden Retrievers. Wanted a little less shedding.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: He loves to go for walks and play with other dogs. Loves the water but not baths.

At 9:52am on March 5, 2010, Liza, Halle and Finn said…: Yay for big boys!! I read your comment about thinking you were getting a medium doodle, and then Cooper weighed 50 lbs at 9 months!!!! I said the same thing! Kachi is big like Cooper, and of course, I wouldn't change a thing!! But I will say, I am extremely pleased that Halle (also a medium doodle) only weighs 28 lbs at 8 months!! Cooper's adorable!

When we go out for hikes, there are sometimes cactus around. I've wondered how to keep Muppet safe from getting stuck with the needles. So far he hasn't bothered them too much, but I'm worried he'll run right onto them one day. I noticed there are lots of cactus in some of your pictures. What's been your experience? Do they just learn to avoid them?

It's funny that we have 2 Cooper here, one is very big and one is very small, both from Tula/Micah, the Cooper in San Jose was from last litter and he's only about 30lb.
