Shedding isn't the whole story regarding allergies, so even if she sheds there is hope!

Here is a quote from an article about allergies and dogs:

Finally, remember that the dog you choose should be groomed away from your home to avoid putting hair and dust in the air; breeds that are usually clipped should be kept in a short trim to prevent carrying allergens in on the coat and to minimize brushing. In the summer months it is advisable to bathe your dog frequently to remove pollen and other allergens from the coat, particularly if you suffer from hay fever. Always use a gentle, good quality, shampoo to prevent irritation to the dog’s skin and damage to his coat. There are also a number of wet-wipes on the commercial market that are designed specifically to remove allergens from the coat between bathing. Some people find that it helps to wipe the dog down whenever they come in from outside.

Here are a couple of interesting articles about allergies to dogs:

But remember, if you can't keep her, I have first dibs!!!!  :-}

Lily, I am in LOVE with your little doodle puppy. What are you going to name her?   I have had two Springer Spaniels and the female was named your name - Lily.  My perfect doodle would be a Springer Spaniel/doodle or look like one!
