Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: SAW MY FIRST DOODLE 2 YEARS AGO AND TOLD MY HUSBAND I WANTED ONE FOR MY BIRTHDAY/CHRISTMAS.....MADE IT THROUGH 4 BIRTHDAY/CHRISTMAS BEFORE FINDING THE RIGHT BREEDER!!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: HE LOVES TO TAKE A SHOWER!!!.....LONG WALKS AND PLAYING IN THE FLUFFY NEW SNOW, also ICECUBES!!! AND NOW HE LOVES HIS STICKS......HE HAS A PILE OF THEM THAT HE PICKS FROM FOR RETRIEVING ( WHICH HE WILL DO FOR HOURS!!)

Does your doodle(s) shed?: A little bit but nothing major

THESE ARE DIRECTIONS THAT I USE TO GROOM DUDE MYSELF. I LIKE THESE BECAUSE THEY ACTUALLY SHOW WHAT SIZE COMB TO USE AND WHERE TO SCISSOR TO BLEND IN. (IT'S THE PICTURE AT THE VERY END OF THE ARTICLE ].......WORKS GOOD FOR SUMMER CUT.........CAN LET GROW OUT MORE FOR WINTER

I read that you had a groomer "to do list" that you said you had posted on your website. I was wondering if you would share it as I want to present it to my groomer along with a picture that I copied of Dude to obtain a similiar result.

I just keep telling myself that she is still a puppy. She is getting her summer cut tomorrow. No more fluffy! She is starting to matt and she has been so hot. Talk to you soon. We won't be at the doodle romp, we have some other plans that day.

At 9:10pm on March 12, 2009, Renee said…: Well the hand in the mouth did not work for us. I have resorted to putting her in a time out in her crate everytime she starts biting us. I have to keep her leash on her, because now when I try to get her into her crate she flops on her back and just keeps biting. With the leash on, I can just pull her into the crate. I am hoping if I am consistent this will help. How is Dude doing?

She is going to go with the wet curly look for a while. How is Dude? Taffy is still biting, tried your tricks-not working. I will try and be consistent with putting he in her crate.

Yes Taffy loves towels and washcloths. Probably because I use to get washcloths wet and put them in the freezer and when they froze I would give them to her as a treat to play with, she loved it. She has eaten paper towel, diaper wipes, and just plain paper. So far no harm.
I would have been so scared when Dude fell in the pond. I don't let Taffy off leash in the backyard either. If I try and let her she just keeps eating bunny poo, leaves, and mulch. I hope she grows out of that. I was wondering how much food do you feed Dude in a day? Taffy eats about 3 1/2 cups.
