- Indy (short for Indiana) is a mini F1B goldendoodle. He is adorable and has just the sweetest temperament of any animal I've ever met.
I recently lost my adorable but very temperamental Amazon parrot, Gus, in a tragic accident. He and I had been best buddies since I was 15.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I have always wanted a golden retriever but don't have enough room for one. A mini goldendoodle is perfect for me because it is somewhat smaller and because it would be a plus (but not a requirement) to have a dog that's non-shedding and good for allergies!

- Nope!

Six weeks after choosing him, I finally brought Indy home this past weekend. A friend and I made the 11 hour drive to Kentucky on Friday. Saturday morning we reached the breeder and I got to meet Indy at last!

Oh, that is so exciting. I remember when we ordered our little girl and we started counting down the days until she joined our family! There is nothng better then a Doodle puppy! Maybe a little challenging at times, but the love wins over every time:)
