About Me:: Mom of 1 human and 4 four-legged kids. Groomer of dogs and cats at my own salon. Volunteer at a local animal shelter and part of a team with my doodle certified for Animal Assisted Therapy and Reading Partners.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Scooby is a 5 1/2 year old F1 Black Golden Doodle from Rhode Island. He is a certified Animal Assisted Therapy dog and a Reading Partner. He visits the adult and geriatric psych units at the hospital. He lives with Beef, a Heinz-57 variety mixed breed that adores him and two cats. Everyone gets along grandly! Scooby is the sweetest, biggest goofball around and very tolerant of being dressed up for Halloween and our annual town parade...

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: My husband has allergies to everything under the sun and our vet recommended a Doodle when our Greyhound died and we wanted to get another dog.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Everything! He loves to play, walk, wander, meet and hang with people - he is just a load of fun and loving!

A couple of weeks ago I had my black girl Midnight Diamond on there. So now I am wondering which one of my crew you are referring to? By the way, it is so great to have input from groomers on the Grooming Group. When I started it I wondered if I had bitten off more than I can chew. :-)

Samantha & I live in Short Hills. She begged & pleaded to get out of the cold and DH & I finally gave in and we left NJ for our apartment in Florida. On the way we stopped to visit friends in Richmond. Belinda from the Richmond group invited us over to meet her and she surprised us with 16 Doodles that came over to play. We have also met several DK members here in Florida. You have found a wonderful extended family here in DK.
