You have been on my mind for days while this story is unfolding in Ohio. I am wondering, although it is no consultation, if you would be interested in this story.
Dogs in Ohio ( and maybe more states) are coming down with very sudden virus that effects the stomach. Many are dieing. The CDC, State Agriculture, Ohio and California Veterinarian Colleges are involved in this strange and severe illness appearing in dogs.
Maybe it will offer you some answers. Maybe your vet can contribute to this study?
