Has your Doodle ate any of these objects?  What is the strangest thing they've eaten?   I'm having a hard time with the following items on the list:

Bed sheet is a lot of material.

Jumper cables - have good sized clamps.

Fire log - it must of been a store bought one or chewed to sticks before hand.

25-30 Soiled Diapers - that has to be one big dog to eat that many diapers in one setting.

I can start the 2011 list....

Echo ate the handle from his leather leash. <groan>

I dont know if  would call these unusual, per se, but Phoebe has eaten more than a couple of micro-LEGO pieces (she loves to crunch them around in her mouth taunting me and then swallow them just as I am about to reach her).  She also loved, no, adored, eating the rocks in our landscape design.  I dove into her mouth so much I could have been a veterinary dentist.  Phoebe also ate most of our kitchen set, too, as a puppy despite lots of crating, distraction and the like...she was a stealthy little beaver.  Thankfully, she never got sick from it and I got a new set out of the deal...a win-win for me.
We had to rush Hartley to the vet today after he swallowed four latex gloves!!  I just posted a blog about our experience!!
Unfortunately Dexter likes to eat weird things.  The odd things include pieces of a tennis ball (from a dog park) and a plastic drain cover for the tub.  Both resulted in surgery (yes this dog has had 4 surgeries including neuter and the knee surgery).  Luckily (knock on wood) he has either been better lately or we've been more diligent.

Thankfully Cooper doesnt eat much she shouldnt, shes more of a shredder

She has recently destroyed 2 inner cores of her buster cube.... I think she only ate a few tiny little pieces....

She likes to destroy the cats toys and eat the catnip that was inside....

My kitten on the other hand will eat anything, but his teeth are too tiny to destroy too much thankfully

whilst it wasn't my labradoodle but a cocker spaniel I had many years ago that ate these

When she was a puppy she ate about 12 sleeping tablets - Temaze - The tablets were in a plastic tablet bottle on top of a book case but she was locked in the house alone while I went grocery shopping the book case was a kind of step type with each shelf set back from the other which formed a kind of stair case we realised later.

She climbed up chewed a plant and then nocked the tablets to the floor ate most of the container and the tablets - had to have her stomach pumped.

I had thought that being up high would be enough but a determined 5 month old puppy can eat anything

O.K., I can easily answer the pincushion question.  Mitzi table surfed one day when I had my sewing items out on my dining room table.  I had left a tomato shaped pincushion in the middle of the table behind my sewing machine but she is a surfer and quite tall when she stands, so apparently it was not difficult to reach it!  Needless to say I rushed her to the vet for x-rays which showed nothing in her!  I never thought for a moment that she would be interested in it, now I know better!

She also chewed up my driver's license, which no longer goes through the machines and is commented on by airport security personnel when I check in for flights and security gate people!  Sometimes they know a dog chewed on it!  lol !

My last dear old dog Barkley was known to eat entire cakes from the counter (under wraps), eat all the Halloween candy from one of the kids' stash (once again out of sight, different level of the house!!!), and the best one was he would go through the gifts under the christmas tree and unwrap and eat any boxes of chocolates (really!!) when we were out.   I know chocolate is supposed to be deadly to them, but he would find it no problem.  Good ol' Barkley (Newfie/retreiver mix)

When our old dog Woody (lab/chesie mix) was around he had such a sweet tooth we ended up putting a latch on the refrigerator.  It was the kind with the freezer on the bottom.  Woody learned at a yound age ice cream was delicious and it was kept behind the door he slept next too. This big boy taught himself how to open the freezer.  He would pull the bucket out and leave everything else alone.

Dryer sheets, remote control, bed sheets, carpet, couch, wall paper (she took it off the wall) probably a squeaker and many beds and stuffed animals. Oh and the all time favorite kleenex and T.P.

Kona:  Books, and chewed to no use on an end table and telephone table.

Buddy: Stick of Butter (the only thing he has ever stood his ground on and would NOT open his mouth to let it go or trade)

Jewelry, Sock, Stucco, Baseboard, Drywall, Remote Control

He is such a Butt :)

Maddie gobbled up a small silk scarf 2 days ago and yesterday while walking through Port Dover on Lake Erie she pooped it out.  While I was poop scooping silly DH said "are you gonna wash that?". Yuk!

I think the worse thing she swallowed in one gulp was a dead baby rabbit. These doods will eat anything.
