Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I joined DoodleKisses a couple weeks ago and wanted to see what everyone else thinks about this site. I have been a part of various dog and doodle related websites/forums before and find this site to be the best.

What I find most appealing is that I haven't seen people get attacked on this site. Reading other forums from other sites it seems like there is a gang mentality and if someone says something perceived as "wrong" then they get bombarded with responses from people that try to set them straight.

It's also great to see owners and/or breeders of F1s and Multi-Gens getting along. I have seen from other sites that there is great divide based on differing philosophies. I may be wrong since I am so new here but that doesn't seem to exist on this site. It's almost like everyone here is trying to respect each others opinions and do whats best for labradoodle breed by sharing their experiences with others.

I also like the user friendlyness of the site and the fact that there are so many groups to join. It's great to see so many people out there who love doodles as much as I do. I have really enjoyed reading all of your stories, looking your pictures, and watching your videos. Keeping up with all your shared doodle experiences has been pleasurable to me.

Thanks for being such a great website, DoodleKisses. And thanks to all of those dedicated people who have contributed to it's success. I have told many people about this site and will continue to do so. I hope this site brings more doodle owners and breeders together.

I agree Scott. DoodleKisses is the first place I found where I even wanted to jump in. Everyone is respectful and I have never seen anyone jump on anyone. We give and get advice and you're free to accept it or not. Being a rescuer it's nice to be able to listen to breeders, too. They are the one's with the doodle experience. But as someone who has rescued doodles, its nice to be able to talk to other people who rescue and share those things. DoodleKisses is addictive and hard to stay away from for very long. But I think it's all because everyone loves this breed and loves our animals and we want to share that. Welcome aboard!
Scott - This is a great site. BTW not just labradoodles but goldendoodles and all other doodles are here. Everyone gets along and tries to help each other when we can. Even when there is differences of opinions, people just agree to disagree.

You are able to draw from many different peoples knowledge.
Scott, I agree with you. Doodle Kisses offers information and insight in a kindly manner. People are genuinely thoughtful here, as opposed to other doodle forums where I have seen mean spirited people bully and badger others--some say out of jealousy. Doodle Kisses rises above all that, extending warm welcomes and inviting unity. I credit the respectful tone to Adina. It is nice to have a safe forum where you can be yourself without fear of attack.
Scott, thanks for starting this discussion! I had the exact same thought going down the road earlier. (see, I'm even thinking about doodle kisses when i'm in the car...) It's just so nice to come to a forum with so many members and everyone seems to get along. I was afraid that, when we started getting so many people joining that it would turn into one of those sites where people are so mean to each other and just have no respect for others. And, Patty, I think you are right - probably a lot of jealousy there. Guess that's why I'm so addicted to this one and no longer go to any of the others!
Scott,

I agree with you. I'm only on a few other sites but this is by far my favorite. I like the discussions where people own their own thoughts and don't insult or judge others.

Adina has done an amazing job in creating this site and facillitating it's growth. Thanks Adina.
I went to join a dog group once and was happily typing in all my particular till it came to "What breed of Dog do you own" and underneath this was printed "We would Prefer if only Pure Bred dog owners joined the site" or some thing along those lines I got out of there quickly. I'm not a Doodle Snob I love all breds and that's what I like about this site we don't knock other breds. Anyway where did they all come from way back in history.
