The Animal Control Officer called me, he was finally able to catch Lindsay. There were a few calls today about a stray dog, and the officer saw her too. He had several foot races with her, and at one point she was in his trap, and escaped. (doodles are too smart.) But finally she was too hungry and went into the trap again. He says she seems fine and no worse for wear. Yahoo !!!!
I will be suggesting harnesses or kennel leads for future older doodles.
Always a lesson to be learned. So glad this lesson has a happy ending.
Ann, in my haste to reply to your great news, I missed the picture attachement ...Ohhh what a sweet sweet doodle you are Lindsay! So pretty! and I am so glad you will be safe in your momma's arms tomorrow! Again congratulations Ann, you have to be so relieved..we had you both in our thoughts and prayers this week and now we will give a big thanks tonight! Please keep us updated, lots more pictures of this pretty little lucky girl. Oh and give that wonderful ACO person a big thumbs up from us, such a wonderful job, well done!!
Ann, I seemed to have missed something because I didn't know anything about Lindsay running off, if that is what happened. BUT, I am sooooooo glad everything turned out OK. She is gorgeous. Love her coloring
Hooray. I lost a puppy once for a week and we were all devastated until we got her back. She is so absolutely darling that it is a wonder she wasn't "re-homed" by everyone who got a glimpse of her.
