A DOODLE AND A POODLE! YIPPEE!

Yippee!  Yesterday we drove up  to St. Peterburgh, Fl., to the Fl. Poodle Rescue group and drove

home with a beautiful, one year old, black male Standard Poodle!  He is just the sweetest boy ever!

Mitzi is doing fine with her new friend, teaching him the ropes around here.  He is already eyeing the pool

and I am only concerned he will jump  in before he fully heals from being neutered.  Our only problem is that his name "Buddy"  just doesn't fit.  I hope we find a better name soon.  Any good suggestions?

Try yelling, "Buck, off!" at a dog park!! Yup, that was Clancy's rescue name. It was NOT going to fly at our house!  LOL

I'm partial to Louie...not just because of our Louie who we also adopted but When Sandra Bullock adopted her Louie, she thought of the Louie Armstrong song "What a Wonderful World"  It's a wonderful world for you and your new adopted puppy. He is a lucky guy that will add to joy to your world!

Louie is a very sweet name. Love it!! "What a Wonderful World" is my husband's favorite song and the song he and our daughter danced to at her wedding.

Mr. No Name has decided to be known as Magic!  It is how the whole week has felt, from him joining our family to his

appearing this morning like magic in the kitty crate, goodness knows how he managed to get in it, he is sooo big!  LOL !

 

We really want to give an extra big THANK YOU! to all of you for helping us choose a name for him.  I would like to post all the terrific choices we were given.  Maybe there should be a place on DK for Names, so many new pets, so many names to choose from!   : )

 

His original name:  Buddy.   Mr. No Name ( it almost stuck), Nico, Peter, Midnight, Emile, Brazzie, Rossano, Luther, Shadow, Buckley, Sully, Dudley, Gaynor, Magic, Disney, Goofy, Wally, Yogi, BooBoo,  Pierre, Simon, Pete,  Petey, Cole, Oscar, Cane, Nero, BaaBaa, Cola, Frankie, Johnny, Louie, Lucky, Pierre, Grover, Marco, Bastian, Xander, Dono, Einstein, Milo, Maxwell, Marcus, Marco, Monet, Mateo, Marious, Marius, Jake, Jacko, Sloan, and more, Beauregard or

Beau, Valentino, Bentley, Monty because he's wooly  : )   Murphy, Micky and Mozart.

 

We loved them all, it was so hard to decide, but it is almost as if he chose his own name and you all said he would.
