A dream come true! Tales (tails?) from the Doodle Cruise.

We started planning in July of 2011 and the Doodle Cruise was but a dream.  All the days of planning and waiting and finally it was here.  The chance to meet in person some of my DK IDOLS!  From the 1st moment it was truely like we were all old friends - because we really were old friends.  This past week was one I will never forget.  There were tons of laughs, some tears, dancing, way too much eating and drinking.  Doodle talk of course!!!  I am way to tired (and want to spend time with Rooney, Stuart and DH) to go into details - those will all come as people get home but I'll share a few photos with you all.  Oh and of course WE CAN'T TELL EVERYTHING - some things will have to stay on the ship.

I know...I went "DARK" for a while.  Not because I don't love all of you, but because my life before was meaningless with my ex-DH and I didn't realize it.  Now, living back in California, being with my family, I have so much going on.  I am adjusting...I am going to start looking for a job now and think that having a job will actually give me more time to be active on DK.  THANK YOU for your caring.

I don't know if you remember me saying to you the night on Yappy Hour when you shared the divorce announcement with us....that "Some day you will THANK him". Sounds like you are getting there.
Seems so dark when it's happening, but the other side is usually much better than you could imagine being stuck in it.
Listen to me, I've never even been divorced. I just have MANY dear friends who have over the yrs and they have shared that same sentiment. Good for you girl....got a life again!
