Another doodle on Craigslist

After seeing all the recent ads for unwanted doodles on Craigslist, I thought perhaps I should check the local listings here in South Florida. This is what I found: http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/for/2741723845.html. Six months is so young and this makes me really sad! Maybe someone in the South Florida group knows someone responsible who is looking for a doodle? Or should I reach out to the DRC?

I sent the information for DRC to the craigslist in omaha, you may want to do the same thing..at least give them the choice to let someone that wants a doodle to rehome them

This is why puppy mills, puppy stores, etc.. are HUGE problems - more than just the treatment of the dogs. It's about who they sell their puppies too. Peri's breeder does crazy screening on her potential families.  She would DIE if someone gave away one of her pups - it's in the contract LOUD AND CLEAR.

Oh my gosh- I looked in Los Angeles and saw this one!!! How can people love their dog for two years and then SELL it to a stranger???

And the worst part is, these people will be getting themselves another dog when the baby is older. Then maybe they can get rid of that dog when a 2nd or 3rd child is born....

Being as this comes from Boca Raton, it doesn't surprise me. If you've never been, it's unique in its artificial, disingenuous, newly rich, corporate Yappy population, mixed with retirees who just want to bake in the sun and play golf or tennis and go to the country club all day. Time for a dog? Oh dear, truely you jest. I have a hair, nail and plastic surgeon appointment to run to! Yes there are some wonderful, real people there too, but this obviously isn't one of them!
