Another Spring Day!!

Well, we woke up to snow today. Vern had me up in the middle of the night and not one drop of snow, but somewhere after his potty break, down it came. Not enough to get the humans that work off work, but enough for two Doodles to have fun in, once they wake up. I guess when you are up in the middle of the night, you have to make up for your beauty rest during the day. Meanwhile, I saw this on Facebook this morning and thought it was funny, especially in light of the DK gremlins we have been living with recently. Oh, and if it is any consolation, I think I saw Punxsutawney Phil dead along side of a back road near the state park yesterday. Some angry motorists in mittens, scarves, and winter coats were standing next to him shouting, "Next year, Punxsutawney Possum will be calling the shots!"  Happy Spring!

This is hilarious!  We are in Indiana and it sucks!  I really wish we were going to Florida for spring break, but can't really afford it this time.  At least we have IU basketball (and Laurie, I know you like Purdue; I was raised a Purdue fan, but they aren't in the tournament and one has to root for someone...)!  I think this is particularly funny because I JUST said yesterday to my older son, "Somebody ought to shoot that groundhog!"

Sorry spring is late, Laurie--and others dealing with still more snow.  :(  I think March is especially hard, because it should be spring!
