I'm wondering if other DK-ers with two doods notice that they sometimes groom each other. Sophie is always cleaning out Winnie's eye gunk and ears (maybe it tastes good??) and kissing his face (which I notice she does a lot when he's having an itchy allergy fit but maybe he has some food stuck in his beard). Tonight I was cutting Sophie's nails and I accidently got the quick. She yelped and bled a tiny bit and sulked a whole lot. The cutest part is that Winston is now licking her paw, maybe he just likes the blood flavour, but I like to think he's kissing her boo boo all better.
What do you guys think? Are they grooming each other or are they just tasting something yummy?

Sophie and Winnie don't really cuddle per se, but sometimes they do in the back seat of the car on a long ride.
Ok, I'll try to get pictures of their rituals at some point, or a video.
Tigger and Roo clean each other up also. Tigger has this thing he does to Roo's fur with his front teeth - just tiny little short nibble bites, kind of like teeth chattering. Occasionally he forgets that we are not Roo and he tries to groom one of us that way too. He never gets or skin, it feels so funny. He always stops himself and looks up at us sort of quizzically - like where is all your fur?
awe, Tigger. What a cutie pie!!
Every morning, Stella cleans Seamus' eyes.....the crud that accumulates while they sleep.
It's sweet, but kind of gross because she clearly eats it LOL. Poor Seamus is not a fan of having little Stella lick his eyes at 6am as we are forcing him to get up, but he tolerates her and I even sometimes catch him cleaning her eyes. I think it's definitely an instinctual thing, but I also agree that they do this out of affection. =)
OMD, this is the cutest thing EVER!!!!!
Awe! adorable!!!
I am dying from the cuteness!
Awe!! they are too sweet. Mine don't cuddle too often, but I did catch them spooning once.
