5 weeks old !!!  Something is not right here !!!   What kind of idiot would go out, spend money on a dog THEN find out you can't have a dog in your apartment ?  Are there really that many stupid people out there??  And any good breeder would not let a puppy go at 5 wks. so obviously she got the dog from or this is some type of scam - sad :(

This one should be reported to the friggin animal police or something! I didn't even think a 5 week old puppy would be sold to anyone...I never got any puppies until they were 8 weeks old and even then, they were tiny! This person is a (insert bad word here) for even getting the dog before he checked with his apartments and it's obviously brand new so why wouldn't the breeder just take him back???? And my favorite is how he says the dog is friendly and loves kids! It's 5 weeks old idiot! Puppies love everyone!

not a scam, sadly not illegal, these are Puppy Mills trying to get rid of litters as 'holiday presents'.

Joanne was right - they will be in shelters or back on CL in a few months when the families realize that their doodle sheds, that they are high energy, that when they run the kids get knocked down and the nip the kids.

This is why the DRC has placed over 600 doodles!!!!

Yes, thank goodness for DRC and the amazing people who work with these doodles. This is a very sad post as they have all been regarding Craigslist. As much as I know we cant hide our heads in the sand, I just hate reading about these situations. Ignorance is bliss I guess. Funny, but a girl at work is looking at two puppies on Craigslist this weekend, to replace her German Shepard that just died. I questioned her about health testing and backyard breeders, but she seems oblivious and not at all concerned. So there is a market out there for them.
