Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I thank you all for helping me with my questions lately. We will probably choose our pup in the next week or two and we will get to choose between a boy or a girl. I honestly have no preference so figured I'd go by what the breeder says and their look (right now they all look identical) So, I am just curious as to what many of you have to say about the boy versus girl for a first family dog. I read some people say the girls are laid back and lots say that there really is no difference.
Thanks!

This isn't going to help you one bit, but I just thought it was so funny when I originally heard it, I thought I'd share:
When we lived in Florida one of our neighbors with 2 little kids got a puppy. They got a little wiener dog named Bella. Adorable little puppy. One day we were standing in the street talking about Bella and how they came about getting a Wiener dog and why a female vs. a male. The Dad said, well, funny story. When we were at the breeders house Emily (their little girl who was probably about 4 at the time) said "Daddy, I don't want one of those things on my puppy" .... thus the reason they got a female!
