Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Does anybody know if this is a reputable site for finding a doodle? My uncle is looking for a puppy and is using this site as a reference. I just want to be sure it's not related to a Puppy Mill.

I did recommend this forum. I hope he signs up and gets to know some owners before making a final decision.

Thank you.

Go ahead, type your state name and "goldendoodle breeders" into your search bar...
"New Jersey goldendoodle breeders" "Pennsylvania goldendoodle breeders", etc. and see what you get. Try "labradoodle breeders" too. Make something up.
"Ohio West Highland White terrier breeders" "Colorado chihuahua breeders". Let your imagination run wild. You'll get a Purebred Breeders LLC website with 9 million ads & prices and their LLC name at the bottom of the page.
I just tried "Arizona bulldog breeders". Surprise! http://www.arizonabulldogbreeders.com/az-puppies-for-sale/
http://www.pennsylvaniamaltesebreeders.com/lifetime-guarantee/

Look at this fake looking guarantee. On "Limitations of Lifetime Guarantee", it states that....

You must follow PUREBRED BREEDERS, LLC recommended nutritional program, including feeding only premium dog foods and NuVet vitamin supplement listed in the paperwork that we give you at the time of purchase. You must retain all receipts for food and vitamins to show you are abiding by this guarantee. All dogs must not be over exercised during their growth period. Over exercising is as follows: running with the dog or jumping the dog.

There are lot of room to say that buyer did not follow the contract!
Yeah, Life's Abundance and Nu Vet are MLM products. You order them using the "breeder's" number, and they get commission from the company. We did a review of the product in the Food Group, remember? Mediocre quality stuff at platinum prices, lots of false advertising. Once a scam artist...
But it doesn't matter. Even if you got the healthiest puppy in the world from them, you put your money into the pockets of an animal abuser. You help finance a puppy mill. You contribute to misery. Their mothers are sentenced to life in a filthy wire-bottomed cage, never in her whole life running or playing for one minute, sitting in her own mess, churning out litter after litter with no vet care, no love, no attention, and when she can't produce any more, she'll be killed or if she's lucky, left toothless and full of mammary tumors outside a county shelter where they can euthanize her more kindly. All so people can buy cheap puppies over the internet quickly and easily.
Yes, I remember...
What got me was the part that states "Over exercising is as follows: running with the dog or jumping the dog." Now tell me what dog does not run or jump? Once your dog ran or jumped, you automatecally did not abide by the contract, so they do not have to honor the guarantee! What a joke!
Why should the puppies run and jump? The mothers don't.
If they are piled and stuck in the cage.....
At the shelter I volunteer, we had 12 female Bichon Frises, ranging from 8 ~ 12 years old. They were from puppy mill raid.....They are still there, and difficult to get them adopted......
I noticed on their "testimonials page" they have a bunch of vague quotes like "We love her so much, just thought we'd give you an update" and thats it. No specifics, no name of who gave the reference, nothing. It's most definitely a puppy mill broker, I saw the Utah site and it's the exact same as all the other ones.
Some of their breeders are linked on this site via Goldendoodes.com. Clearly no name or address on ANY website would make me move on no matter what I'm searching for. Phone number contact ONLY is bad news.
nope and you will find the same puppies if you change the state name...
Yep I have googled "Tennessee Goldendoodle Breeders" and get the same website. Same if you used "chihuahua". I knew it was for puppy mills.....
